General Construction Service Technician

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Southern California based commercial construction company is seeking an experienced CDL class A driver with a strong general construction background to perform equipment delivery using a Ford F650, 22’ Trailer, to transport a Skidsteer or an Asphalt Roller for commercial repair and maintenance work at financial institutions and Fortune 50 and 500 businesses throughout Southern California.

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and to represent Excel Construction Services, Inc. in a professional manner, while maintaining a strong commitment to safety.

Experience:

Ideal candidate will have a CDL class ‘A’ driver with a variety of construction skillsets including but not limited to: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, furniture repair and flooring.

The candidate needs to be able to operate a Skidsteer. Additionally, the candidate should be familiar with residential/commercial and Industrial construction practices, techniques, tools, equipment, and materials.

Required Skills:

Must be able to operate commercial vehicles to, from and around jobs site.

Clean driving record

Strong written and verbal communications skills

Ability to work independently with little to no supervision

Highly organized and has great customer service skills.

Must comply with business ethics, applicable laws and regulation

Personal Skills:

Each candidate is expected to have a positive attitude and be able to work with his/her fellow employees and managers.

Non-smoking environment.

Need clean DMV.

Ability to pass drug test and physical.
